Conor Wiley is a Dover native and former student member of Dover Youth to Youth. He was involved with the program all through middle and high school, and occasionally assisted with projects during his time in college. As a member, Conor participated heavily in teaching students about drugs and alcohol, coaching younger students and students from other communities in advocacy skills, and in developing radio and video PSA’s.

Upon graduating from the University of New England with a degree in Marine Biology, Conor joined the staff of Dover Youth to Youth as a prevention programmer in order to continue his passion of supporting students as they make a difference in their community.

Dana Mitchell

Mitchell has been with the Dover Police Department since 1977. He was a sworn officer for 26 years rising to the rank of Captain.  He retired from a sworn position in 2003 and  has remained with the DPD since then, serving as a civilian employee, coordinating the Youth to Youth Program and participating in other drug prevention and community advocacy activities in Dover. Mitchell has a BS in Criminal Justice from Boston’s Northeastern University and a Masters in Public Administration from Golden Gate University of San Francisco. He is a 1988 graduate of the FBI’s National Academy in Quantico, VA.

Mitchell is on the Executive Board of the Dover Coalition for Youth. In 2010 he successfully completed the process and testing to be certified by the State of New Hampshire as a Certified Prevention Specialist. Mitchell has also been trained and certified as a DARE Officer since 1996.  He continues to teach DARE classes in his current capacity. Mitchell has instructed at drug prevention conferences throughout the country on topics relating to youth empowerment and community advocacy. He has served on the staff of the New Hampshire Teen Institute, is a past member of the NH Attorney General’s Underage Drinking Task Force, and currently assists the Partnership for a Drug Free NH Advisory Board. Mitchell was the first recipient of the annual Smoke Free NH Award of Merit, the 1998 recipient of the NH Prevention Association Excellence in Prevention Award and was selected as the PRIDE Law Enforcement Officer of the Year for 2003.

Bridget Ryan

Bridget Ryan is an Upstate New York native and came to the state of New Hampshire in 2022. Bridget began working with the Dover Police Department in April of 2023 as a prevention programmer and data analyst. Bridget’s areas of interest are concentrated in youth and family mental health, adverse childhood experiences, substance use and juvenile justice. Prior to Dover Youth to Youth, Bridget worked at the University of New Hampshire’s Crimes Against Children Research Center on the National Juvenile Online Victimization Study (NJOV-4), interviewing law enforcement officers across the United States.

Bridget received her Bachelor’s, majoring in psychology and double minoring in criminology and education studies, from Stonehill College in 2021. During her time in Massachusetts, Bridget worked as a family support specialist in the south eastern region of the state serving children and families with behavioral health challenges. Her experience extends to case management, motivational interviewing, mentoring and collaborating with community partners, including DCF, clinicians and substance use treatment programs. She also worked as a communications officer for Stonehill College Police Department and taught a semester long course to first-year students. She has also been a guest presenter in courses relating to juvenile justice and adverse childhood experiences.

Bridget is an active member of the Dover Juvenile Diversion Committee and has been a member since July 2022. She also sits on the Juvenile Justice Reform Commission’s System’s Improvement Subcommittee. Bridget has a passion for the Juvenile Justice field and how adverse childhood experiences impact youth mental health, substance use and juvenile justice involvement. She hopes that her work with Youth to Youth can impact disparate populations experiencing ACEs and children of substance using parents.

Vicki Harris

Vicki grew up in Dover, New Hampshire where she has been an active participant in the community’s drug prevention initiatives for over 25 years. Her involvement in drug prevention began as member of Dover Youth to Youth while in middle and high school. During that time she taught “Media Awareness” in DARE classes, created and recorded radio PSAs, testified before the state legislature, and participated in numerous other community anti-drug projects.

As a youth advocate she collaborated with various state and national organizations. During her senior year of high school she served as the President of the Youth Network Opposing Tobacco (YNOT) which was NH’s youth led tobacco prevention initiative. She also worked closely with the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids creating the Kick Butts Day Guide and served as a summer intern in 2006 where she helped plan the youth component of the World Conference on Tobacco and Health in Washington DC.

After Vicki graduated from college, the City of Dover NH Police Department was awarded a federal Drug Free Communities grant and Vicki was hired to be the full time coalition coordinator. In this capacity, she coordinated community wide drug prevention efforts and expanding the efforts to address emerging threats including the opioid epidemic and vaping prevention. Vicki currently supervises the departments Prevention Services Unit and oversees a grant portfolio of local, state and federal grants.

Vicki received her associates degree from the University of New Hampshire in Community Leadership and her bachelor’s degree from Granite State College where she studied Non-Profit Management. Vicki is an Advanced Certified Prevention Specialist and a trained Recovery Coach.
